Greetings, @Lab Allegiance and @Path Allegiance. As you may have already noticed, dossier cards from yesterday's hack are now in the possession of both factions. To determine which faction would receive which card, 25 individuals were randomly selected from amongst the first 250 to successfully hack into the server. Additionally, we have just been made aware that some new items have unexpectedly been acquired by both factions. In light of these potentially battle-altering disruptions, you are now able to change previously submitted Pre-Battle Votes until voting ends.

The confidential audio notes retrieved by each faction in the first Server Hack are now posted on the Intranet. You may access them by opening the Mega Cards that can now be found in your inventory. Please note: These audio files are only accessible to the faction who won the corresponding Mega Card.
Separately, we understand that you may have interest in obtaining more information than what your faction was able to acquire as a result of the hack. To this end, we are joyfully introducing an exciting new process: negotiation!
Beginning at the time of this message, we are opening a 24-hour negotiation window between both factions that will be facilitated by yours truly.
Each War Council shall let me know any time prior to what offer they wish to present to the opposing faction. I will ensure it is considered and will subsequently relay counterproposals. If a deal is reached, I will arrange for the negotiated audio files to appear in the designated faction wallets. Happy bargaining!

Despite a few server load issues, you prevailed, successfully completing the first Server Hack to unlock confidential information in Doc’s files.
The top 100 finishers, in order of when they entered the correct server password – either on the compromised Intranet or through the typeform – were entered into a randomized drawing, whose outcome will award both the individual winner and their faction.
Classified intelligence files on the eight (8) Mega Mutants involved in the Mega Mutant Melee were uncovered in the server. The randomly selected winners will receive 1 of 1 NFTs of the Mega Mutant Character Card, which will be delivered to each recipient after the Melee has been completed. In the meantime, the cards have been delivered to a wallet that is designated for each faction. This wallet will double as your armory for the battles ahead.
In the coming days, members of each faction will be able to access additional data directly from Doc’s files, with private information about their awarded cards not visible on the NFTs themselves. Use this knowledge wisely to plan for the battles to come…

There is no time for frivolities when you’re deep in the trenches, fighting alongside your faction with the future of all apekind at stake. In advance of Monday, consider this: each faction will have a War Council. The War Council will be a tight group of delegates whom your faction trusts to take on leadership positions. Throughout the Melee, your elected War Council members will bear the responsibility of assisting with the coordination of faction decisions and keeping the broader group informed and directed on the battlefield. Hello @everyone! As your designated battle coordinator, it brings me great joy to share more information on the structure of the conflict we have organized for you.
As you know, the Simian Path’s attack on AppliedPrimate’s secret facility in South America triggered a security failsafe that locked down each of the Mega-Mutant-related files and items contained within.
Any of the locked-down content could be helpful in battle, so in the coming weeks, you and your faction will attempt to override the security systems in the following ways:
Server hacks: breaking into the facility’s server to access files of information on Megas and their strengths and weaknesses.
Equipment hacks: dismantling complex locks on crates storing powerful items that can be equipped in battle.
Please see the calendar below for the schedule of hacks and battles. As a battle approaches, your faction will vote in advance on major strategic decisions, such as which Megas will attack and which items they equip. Tactical decisions, like responses to attacks, will be made in real time during battle. Each battle will last 60-120 minutes and will be overseen by a neutral party. Rewards will be awarded based on a faction’s performance in hacks and in battle.
One more announcement: On Friday, you will officially select your faction role. This means that you will have access to new Melee-related Discord channels for your faction, as well as features in the Intranet like faction-specific voting. Once you have made your faction selection, it is permanent and cannot be changed.

Hello @everyone. As we all know, today is a momentous day with much excitement to get caught up in, but I wanted to take this time to remind you all why we are doing this, what exactly we are fighting for.
Exactly one month ago, The Simian Path crossed a serious line when they attacked us at our secure storage facility in South America. @Mega Electric and @Mega Noise were severely injured and barely escaped alive. I shudder to think what could have happened if we had been unable to get them to the lab as soon as we did. (Thankfully, they are both on track to achieve not only full recovery, but also greater strength than ever before, just in case we have to fight the Path again…)
Furthermore, the thefts that the Path committed against us that day constituted so much more than the simple seizure of property; rather, they have dire consequences for all of apekind. The corrupted, weaponized Apebot that they now call “Deathbot” and our precious yet dangerous Element 115, in the wrong hands as they are now, have the potential for massive, irreparable harm beyond our wildest imagination.
@Scientist, what I ask of you is of utmost importance: Choose your allegiance wisely. Join the side of the Lab and help me plan a counterattack to retrieve the Element 115 and our Deathbot weapon before the Path has the chance to destroy apekind as we know it. Do not let yourself be swayed by darker forces.

We wanted to share some logistics details of the Allegiance Pass mint so you all know what to expect.
Choosing Your Allegiance
During each phase, eligible wallets will connect to our mint site and must then choose which faction's allegiance pass to mint. There is a limit of 2500 passes per faction. Once either faction reaches 2500, no additional passes can be minted for that faction.
For keycard and role holders, the Allegiance Pass is free to mint (plus gas)
All Allegiance Passes are on the same ERC721 contract and differ only by Faction trait and Image. An official collection link will be added to #official-links.
Phase 1: Keycard Holders 3/1
Keycard holders will connect to our mint site and select the number of Lab and/or Path allegiance passes they would like to mint based on how many Keycards they hold.
Up to 50 passes can be minted in a single transaction.
Keycard Eligibility: Each keycard is eligible to mint 1 Allegiance Pass.
Once a keycard is used to mint a pass, it cannot be used again.

Our mint website will provide a Keycard Checker Tool where you can check any keycard's redemption status. We will also link to this tool directly in #official-links ahead of Phase 1. You do not need to connect your wallet to use this tool.Please be careful: If you buy a keycard on secondary that has already been used to mint an Allegiance Pass, that keycard will not be eligible to mint again.
Reminder: Keycard holders will have 48 hours to mint their passes, and it's impossible for either faction to be minted out during this phase, so don't panic.

Hey @everyone, I'm excited to share a bit more information about what we're putting together for March. This is going to be a slightly bigger event than others we've created in the past so we want to make sure you have all the info you need to play… and for what comes after.
Our March event will be a faction-based strategy role playing game depicting the Mega battle between the AppliedPrimate Lab and The Simian Path. To play the game, an Allegiance Pass NFT will be required. There will be 5,000 Allegiance Passes total: 2,500 for the Lab and 2,500 for the Path. When minting an Allegiance Pass, a side must be chosen.
Keycard holders will be able to claim an Allegiance Pass for free (+ gas) during a 48 hour window that begins at 12pm ET on March 1st, 2023.
After Keycard holders have claimed their passes, we will open the Allegiance Pass mint to @Employee ID . A few minutes ago a snapshot of @Employee ID roles in the server was taken and everyone who had it at the time will be given the @Allegiance Mint role. All members with this new role will be able to mint an Allegiance Pass for free (+ gas) during a 24h window that begins at 12pm ET on March 3rd.
If there are any Allegiance Passes left when the @Allegiance Mint mint window ends on March 4th at 12pm ET, they will become available for the general public to mint at .05 ETH per pass.
The RPG game will begin for all Allegiance Pass holders on March 15th, 2023 and will conclude on April 5th, 2023. On this date, everyone who used their Allegiance Pass to play the game will be eligible to participate in another mint: Megabots are coming on April 5th, 2023.
