SECURITY UPDATE
@everyone If you have any wallets with a compromised seed phrase/private key linked to your FuturePass, we advise that you unlink these wallets immediately.
If you have a compromised wallet which held collectibles you have since transferred, and want to safely benefit from the time-held component of your FutureScore, you can do this by combining FutureScores rather than linking wallets:
- Create a new FuturePass using the compromised wallet
- Log out
- Log in to your main FuturePass.
- Go to the FutureScore tab and select ‘Combine FutureScores’
- Combine the FutureScore of the compromised FuturePass by logging in with the compromised wallet.
Please note:
- The FuturePass created with the compromised wallet will be forever compromised. Do not use it.
- The time-held calculation is being worked on, so successfully combining your FutureScore may not impact the FutureScore immediately.
- For clarity, there is zero risk to any of the collectibles in other linked wallets. The risk is that the compromised key could be used to transact the collectibles or tokens in the FuturePass address on The Root Network.
- If the wallet wasn't seed compromised there is no risk relating to the FuturePass.

@everyone, our community team has been working diligently on a plan to restructure our Discord servers to help us better serve our community. We have taken community feedback onboard and are now ready to implement these changes.
We will be taking the FLUF World and Altered State Machine Discord servers into maintenance mode on Sunday 10AM PT / Monday 5AM NZT. During this period, the #🌐・settled-world channel will be put into slow mode, and the only other accessible channel will be #🎟・support-ticket.
The FLUF World server will re-launch as Futureverse, the home of all things creative, gaming, and experiences.
The Altered State Machine server will be re-launched as The Root Network, the home of all things technical, tokenomics, and protocols.
The Seekers, ATEM Car Club, and AI League: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Edition servers will be locked from Sunday 10PM PT / Monday 5PM NZT, and direct people to the relevant server depending on their interests.

FUTUREVERSE ANNOUNCEMENT
The original Futureverse whitepaper proposed some distribution mechanics for the ROOT token that were subject to community and regulatory feedback.
Based on this feedback, we’re pleased to have adapted the original draft structure to set up The Root Network for long-term success.
The changes include a 100% increase to the community rewards, which will also drive participation from the community to build out The Root Network ecosystem and ensure that both new and long-term holders are able to participate in rewards.
We’re also introducing the FutureScore system, which is designed to make The Root Network into a game, where your collectables play a role in the rewards you receive. This novel approach forms a kind of ‘proof of work’ for token decentralization. This is on top of the base layer of rewards from being a network validator or staking in the security of The Root Network.

FAQs
Why are you making changes to the whitepaper?
The original whitepaper had some proposed distribution mechanics for the ROOT token subject to community and regulatory feedback. We are pleased to have adapted the original draft structure based on this feedback to set The Root Network up for long-term success. We’ve now updated the whitepaper with the latest token details.
Will there be further changes to the whitepaper?
The fundamental concepts and themes outlined in the Futureverse whitepaper will remain unchanged, but we may want to update certain details to reflect our evolving understanding of the web3 audience, industry, and technology. We will ensure that we communicate any changes (and their rationale) in advance.
What is FutureScore, and how is it calculated?
The FutureScore is a mechanism within the Futurepass technology and will be calculated based on things like the type of assets you hold, the number of assets you hold, how long you have held them, the rarity of those assets, the activities those assets have been involved with, along with other contributions players have made to growing the ecosystem, such as social media activity. The score is dynamic, will evolve over time, and will be influenced based on your participation.
What happens to my FutureScore if I’ve had to move my assets between wallets?
Your FutureScore won't be affected if you've had to move your assets between wallets, provided your wallets are associated with the same FuturePass.
When will FutureScore be active?
The FutureScore feature and ability to link wallets will be part of the next major FuturePass release. Further details on these features will be made public before the release.
