Hey @everyone a few updates for the Boredom Store. We've got 3 fun items coming soon and live now that will be available for purchase with Boredom (see below) and also…if you haven't gotten your "Insert Boredom" poster yet, we are taking it down next week.

-AIFA - The Artificial Intelligence Football Association is a strategy soccer game that allows you to train and set your own team line-up, then watch cute and sometimes vicious players go at it on the field.
-Blast Royale - A fast-paced, mobile Battle Royale survival game. Think Fortnite but top-down.
-Cyber Stadium - The first closed loop, 100% on-chain NFT game. 100% of Primary & Secondary from entries go to rewards for players who survive battles in the stadium.

We've upgraded our Coming Soon experience to display details on items going live soon so members can plan accordingly. Also for the rest of March instead of dropping a bunch of game items all at one time we are going to pace them out going live every 18 hours. This way you can stay up to date by just checking the store (https://boredbox.io/store) every once and while vs having to react quickly to a discord notification. Thanks again for all the feedback on the store, keep it coming.

Iluvium Announcement in Discord: Updates on our partnership with Illuvium! @everyone

2) We’ll be dropping 100 Illuvium Beyond Avatars “Illuvitars” to the Boredom Store. These will be used across the Illuvium ecosystem, most notably in their upcoming collectible game: Illuvium Beyond

3) And a bit of fun…the “Illuvitars” are being sold as “D1SKs” and “MEGAD1SKs” (more rare) each containing 3 avatars and 2 accessories. We’ve mixed in 20 MEGAD1SKs along side 80 D1SKs to be randomly distributed to those who buy an Illuvitar with Boredom. Which means 20 of the 100 Illuvitar buyers will be getting a MEGAD1SK, so we wish you all luck on picking these up.

4) IMPORTANT NOTE: Illuvium runs on the IMX chain, so make sure you link an IMX wallet to the ETH address you use to login to Bored Box if you haven’t already. You can do so at https://market.immutable.com/

Hey @everyone as mentioned last week, we've got a new item in the Boredom Store thanks to our friends at PixelVault! You should now see 40 editions of a MintPass 2 available via Dutch Auction. These passes are for the "Inhabitants" collection and can be traded in (burned) at your leisure for a DOT A.K.A. "Designated Observational Traveler." Hey @everyone in addition to the new items we are testing out our new Dutch Action feature! Last week, we posted items at a flat rate and they sold out very fast. So this week we wanted to try a new approach by selling items via a Dutch Action. We have given all the items this week a high price to start which will then decline over the next few days until someone buys the item.

Please keep your vocal and constructive feedback coming, it is extremely appreciated as we scale this up. And keep an eye on the #store-updates channel for updates.

Hey @everyone - you may have heard about a fairly large gaming ecosystem called Illuvium. Tomorrow I'll be interviewing the founder Kieran Warwick and I'd encourage you all to tune in. Even more exciting, Illuvium is launching a new collectible card game called "Beyond" and they're going to hook up the Bored Box community with a very large allocation of "D1SKs" that contain custom avatars for the game. Hello @everyone we’re continuing to make progress on the Boredom Store. This week, our “shelves” are beginning to fill up!

Last week, hundreds of people began claiming a commemorative poster and helped us test drive the new system and now we’re expanding into real game assets. This is an early version of our grander vision for a store, but a small step towards our goal of making sure Bored Box is the default first place players go before buying a game item.

For now, the items are priced at a flat rate, and will go to buyers on a first come first serve basis. In the future, as we expand the selection of game items available, and as our community grows, we’ll implement a Dutch Auction format to help ensure fairness and allow the market (our community) to dictate how much certain items should sell for.

Your vocal and constructive feedback is going to be extremely appreciated as we scale this up. To keep a closer eye on items available for sale, keep an eye on the #store-updates channel.

Hello @B64 owners! This Friday at 8:30am PT our friends at Planet Mojo will be holding a free mint for another round of their glorious Champions. We worked with their team to ensure that all wallets who were holding a B64 Bored Box as of last week have been added to a priority list (Mojo List) to grab a free mint.

The mint will be hosted on the Magic Eden website and take place via the Polygon chain, so make sure you have some spare Matic tokens if you'd like to participate (we think you should!). Follow Planet Mojo's Twitter handle to get live updates, and we can ping B64 owners on Friday as well. Good luck!

We’ve created a commemorative poster that anyone can obtain by spending 1 Boredom (for a limited time). Posters will be delivered in batches, so don’t look for them in your wallets immediately. Over time, we will speed that process up significantly with the goal of instant transfers, but for now we’re leaving space for delivery. In the meantime, we want your feedback! @Genesis The team at Martian Premier League are building a football manager game set in a rich, immersive world on Mars. The full game is due to launch later this year, but they've just launched their game beta - the MPL Cup - a time-bound, knock-out tournament where holders will for the first time be able to create their teams, and compete in head to head matches testing their managerial skills to the max. Twice a week managers will set the strategy that they think will triumph over their opponent - everything from line-up, to tactics, to boosts aimed at improving their player's performance, or simply trying their best to avoid an incoming meteorite shower!

The beta is open to MPL holders, and as many of you received an MPL as part of your Bored Box, we wanted to let you know that this is now live and you can go and participate. You have until 15th Feb at 12pm PST to create a team and join the Cup, at that point the teams are locked, the groups are assigned and the games commence! While teams consist of 15 players (a starting 11 and 4 substitutes), you only need 1 MPL to participate and play - there will be "synthetic" players on hand to round out your team if needed.

Hannah from the founding team at MPL has recorded a product walk through of how to create your team and customize your players. We're looking forward to playing along, and hope you do too!

Quick update @everyone! In about 12 hours we're going to announce the launch of Boredom to the public. Along with an update to our website, we'll also be reorganizing the Discord a bit and inviting new friends into the space.

We'll still have Bored Box owner gated channels for more private discussion (private channels will all end in -bho) for the core community, and public channels will be a place for everyone and anyone to talk games. As we go through this expansion, we appreciate you welcoming the n00bs!

Additionally, please be extra careful through this transition. Watch out for random DMs (turn them off in our server settings) and be careful clicking any links you see!

Hopefully the answer is yes because we just quietly rolled out a site update for https://boredbox.io. We're happy to share that you can now sign into the site with your ETH wallet and see your boredom balance growing in real-time. This is the first step of many.

Today is the initial release and we have several more updates planned for the coming weeks and months. Please try to break stuff and give us feedback in #❓-support-faq. We're excited to start recruiting new members to the community as we polish up the website and learn from your feedback. As a reminder, your points balance is tied to your wallet not your boxes.
