We want everyone to have a chance! If you hold more than one BB, please choose your favorite one. Please only submit your BB once - you will not increase your chances of getting your BB selected by submitting it multiple times.

How many BBs will you be using for the merchandise?
This has yet to be determined. It will be determined based upon the final chosen design of the products.

How long do I have to submit my BB?
You have until 5 PM Eastern Standard Time on Friday, June 30th to submit your BB to be considered.

Which major retailer is this for?
We can’t tell you yet - but you will find out soon!

Will I be financially compensated if my BB is chosen?
Yes! If chosen, you will be provided with a one-time payment. We are working through these details and will let you know (if your BB is selected) what your compensation will be.

When will I find out if my BB is chosen?
We will notify you no later than July 31, 2023.

If my BB is selected, when will the collection launch with the major retailer?
We can’t give you a firm date yet but likely in Q4 of this year!

How are you selecting which BBs will be chosen?

Here are a few interesting statistics:

🚀 More than half of Gen Z wish their school had taught them more about web3 and would like more credible educational resources even outside of school.

🚀 Around 41% of young women have encountered someone pretending to be someone else online and one in five Gen Z girls admit they are “highly uninformed” of the risks in this new digital space.

Making History: The United Nations and Boss Beauties came together for an exclusive event to support peacekeepers! Monday, May 29th was International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers – an international day to pay tribute to all the men and women who have served and continue to serve in United Nations peacekeeping. In honor of the holiday, Boss Beauties and our amazing community helped raise funds for Peacekeepers. The highest bidder took home our exclusive 1:1 NFT plus 2 of 2 framed museum-grade archival print!

Community Spotlight: This week's Community Spotlight goes to @KristaGregg and Ava - we met them at VeeCon and had a total blast celebrating our shared love for Barbie & supporting women. Thank you for making the trip to the BossBeautiesxBarbie booth and for being a part of the BB community! We're so glad we got to meet you Boss Beauties IRL!

Danette Anderson: Danette fell in love with photography over 15 years ago. Her photography work has spanned everything from families, weddings, high school seniors, newborns, you name it! But it wasn't until she started working with women that she truly found her niche. She has been in front of and behind the lens, so she knows how to photograph women in a way that makes them look incredible, while also making them feel super confident. Something magical happens when you shoot with her! Over the years, she has worked with hundreds of female clients, including high profile celebrities and owners of national brands, and she is thankful for all of the opportunities she has been allowed.

GiaNina Paolantonio: Hailing from Jersey, GiaNina began her career dancing for both the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets kids dance teams and then made her Broadway debut in Matilda the Musical at the young age of 9, was a principle ballerina in the mega movie The Greatest Showman, and has toured with Mariah Carey on her “All I want for Christmas Tour”. GiaNina also starred in the hit Lifetime Show “Dance Moms” Season 8 and has since enjoyed success on social media with multi millions of followers across all her platforms.

Lesego: Lesego is a 23-year-old woman born and raised in South Africa. Since the age of 16, she had her heart set on becoming a pilot. After completing high school, unfortunately she was unable to commence pilot training due to financial constraints. However she refused to let her dreams of becoming a pilot be grounded. So she decided to take a gap year that would help shape her future, while her parents regained financial stability. Her patience eventually paid off as she was able to commence training and manage to earn her private pilot license, logging over 150 hours of flying. Interestingly, Lesego has a fear of heights, yet she courageously soars through the skies. Lesego expanded her skills as a licensed remote pilot, mastering the operation of advanced drones utilized for security purposes, inspections, and surveying. She is now currently training towards her commercial pilot license while she also balances her time as a part-time content creator, channeling her passion for videography and photography.

Dr. Chisom Ikeji: Dr. Chisom Ikeji is an internist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside and UPMC Mercy. She received her medical degree from Medical University of the Americas and has been in practice between 6-10 years.

Kim DeJesus: Kim DeJesús trained at Arizona State University, where she was the recipient of the Katherine K. Herberger Painting Scholarship, and received a post-graduate degree in art from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. After her studies, Kim took a teaching position. For over a decade, she pursued community-based collaborative art initiatives in the US and abroad. In recent years, her studio practice has led her back to painting and she is working with William Turner Gallery in Los Angeles.

Dai Time: Dai Time is more than your average teen Influencer. She is your favorite Georgia Peach, Talk Show Host, Influencer & Roller Skater based in Los Angeles, CA. Accomplishing the impossible all during & before the tender age of 17, including hosting & creating her own Teen Talk Show "It's Dai Time," to discuss All things Gen Z. Along with publishing her own Magazine titled Dai Time Magazine, which features new amazing youth in the Entertainment industry each quarter. This icon also happens to be a teen scholar graduating at just the age of 16 years old, in May of 2022.

Francesca Capaldi: Francesca is an American actress and model. She is perhaps best known for her role as Chloe James on the Disney Channel original sitcom Dog With A Blog (2012–2015) and as Nellie Chambers in the Brat TV web series Crown Lake. Capaldi has also appeared in movies and How I Met Your Mother in 2012. Francesca is currently attending college and is looking forward to more acting roles in the future. She loves to travel, write, is a foodie and lover of fashion. 🥰

Camille, The Galactic Gal: Camille is an aerospace engineer turned space business strategist. Camille’s science communication platform, The Galactic Gal, aims to make aerospace accessible to everyone while empowering women in STEM and educating about the importance of STEAM (STEM + Art). Camille graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She also attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for high school where she specialized in trumpet performance and was a nationally ranked trumpet player.

Crystal Kung Minkoff: Crystal Kung Minkoff is a 76th generational descendant of Confucius. She was born and raised in Northridge, California to first-generation Chinese immigrant parents. Crystal attended the University of California, Irvine, where she studied Biology and History. In 2003, she met her husband Rob Minkoff, who directed the Academy Award-winning Walt Disney classic The Lion King. Crystal is the co-founder of Real Coco, a coconut beverage company that has sold over 10 million bottles of coconut water to date, alongside her brother, Jeffrey Kung, who is better known as a pop singer in China.
