We know that many of you have been patiently waiting for this day, and we want to thank you for your continued support and trust in our team.
As you may remember, we had to temporarily close our marketplace due to a series of scam attempts that compromised the integrity of our platform. We take this very seriously and have taken a number of measures to improve the security and safety of our marketplace, including stricter verification processes and better moderation tools. Quick update regarding the claimables from the marketplace! All of the prizes have been sent out, please check your marketplace on TOONZ OS to see the message delivered.
If the claimable was a NFT/Token you will see that it has been airdropped to the wallet associated with the LOFTZ/Marketplace, checking the message will provide you with the transaction hash!
For all physical claimables you will receive a coupon code for the claim as well the site that you will be able to redeem these claimable within your messages on the marketplace!
Last we will notify our holders about the GMGN Mixtape, this is the only item in the marketplace to both receive a physical & digital asset. This item has yet to sell out and with that no tokens or coupon codes have been sent as of yet. At the time of sell out you will receive one; a code for the physical claim and two; you will receive a transaction hash within 72 hours of sell out.

With our marketplace launched and the prize items being redeemed we wanted to clear up the steps that will happen after the prize items have been claimed!
For the NFTs featured such as the mystery OG & detonated TOONZ, the token will be airdropped, a confirmation a message will be sent through the marketplace message system within TOONZ OS containing the transaction hash. This will be the same process once the raffles have finalized and a winner has been generated. The GMGN Mixtape token will be airdropped and for the physical copy the steps to follow will be mentioned next.
For physical items claimed you will receive a link to a private product on Shopify & a code that will be used at the time of check out; this again will all be sent through the message system within TOONZ OS. During this checkout process that will be the time to provide all of your shipping information.

Now how do I get to there?
To get access to the marketplace you will have to sign into your LOFTZ and click the laptop on the bed or the new laptop icon on the menu bar. This will prompt TOONZ OS to load and clicking on the “Marketplace” icon will prompt theMarketplace window to appear.
The featured items will quickly display, clicking on the items will allow you to either buy now or participate in the on-going raffles! Each item is clearly labeled as Buy Now or a Raffle type. all raffles will have limited entries per wallet.
When in the marketplace there is a “user” icon on the menu bar, here you will be able to view your purchase history, messages with read/unread functions. This will assist in notifying users of a new message to communicate about raffles and deliveries.
All functions mentioned above will also be available on mobile! Connection based issues can occur, if you are experiencing any issues clearing the cache and logging back in will clear any connection based issue.

Today unfortunately OpenSea decided to enforce a minimum 0.5% royalty fee and forcefully dictate the earning potential of creators.
While we are not shocked, we are saddened and disappointed by this decision.
This is a blatant attack on the ethos of Web3 and on all the artist, creators, musicians, individuals, organizations who came here to participate in an environment that was meant to respect and protect the value of their work.
While we cannot change this, we will work closely with other creators and communities to ensure this is not the standard for Web3.
Additionally, we would like to take this time to reassure you that our team is as committed as ever to continuing to build this brand and maximize its potential.
We have always operated in a conservative fashion, and understood that royalties alone could not be the singular revenue driver of this brand.
The team is fully committed to growing other revenue channels, and finding new effective ways to further maintain positive cash flow.

Marketplace: Our highly-anticipated marketplace is in its final stages of testing, ensuring that our holders will have a seamless experience on launch day. We have been working tirelessly to make sure the marketplace meets the highest standards of quality, security and user experience. We understand how important this is to our community, and we will announce the release date very soon. The marketplace is set to provide a new and exciting way for our holders to use their TNZ tokens.
LOFTZ Mobile: We are stoked to inform you that we have successfully adapted the LOFTZ for mobile devices. This will provide our mobile-only users the opportunity to view their LOFTZ from their devices. While we still recommend using a desktop computer for best performance and experience, this update will provide added convenience and flexibility to our community.
TNZ Earning Update: We are currently reevaluating and expanding the FULL SET earnings in our reward system to provide more value to our holders. Furthermore, we have decided to give a boost to earnings for the Detonated collection, which will also receive a significant increase. A visual graphic showcasing the updated numbers will be made available once these changes go live.

9: LOFTZ ITEMS
The TOON LOFTZ has become a huge asset to our ecosystem and we want to continue expanding our reach in all areas. As mentioned above, in Phase III of the Marketplace we will be bringing more eco-system assets on chain. These assets will only be claimable with TNZ tokens, once claimed the asset will be tradable on other platforms such as OpenSea. As we bring this vision to life, value and customization to our holders is at the forefront. We will achieve this by allowing holders to redeem TNZ tokens for LOFT items they can place inside their space, giving holders the ability to showcase their style and personality alongside their TOON! Holders, of course, have the option to buy/sell/trade these items if they wish. LOFT items will also carry their own rarity, some being MUCH more exclusive than others. Make sure to have your TNZ at the ready, we look forward to seeing your personality shine through!
10: GMGN DROP II
GMGN!! As many know, we released our first apparel collection last year! Our team had their sights set on mass distribution; but when looking at the impact of partnering with a major retailer we came to the realization that we would be limiting our potential as a brand. This year we are taking a new approach as we drop our second “GMGN” apparel collection! Our vision for the second drop is going to be more highly curated, more elevated products that is indicative of a brand that can attend the fashion weeks of the world, that can be respected by the higher fashion brands that take us seriously as we support not only high quality products but an amazing community rallying with us.
11: TNZ TOKEN ON-CHAIN
Taking the TNZ token on chain has been a vision of ours since the inception of the TOONZ. Finding regulatory clarity and proper use case, so that the token can thrive successfully for years to come, is a hurdle needed to be achieved. We want to be very clear that TNZ going on chain is something we WILL achieve down the road; there are many different variables that we must overcome first. As we’re developing our economic standard within our Marketplace, it will start to assist with some of these hurdles. We as a team have decided that there will be a cap on the supply of the TNZ token when it goes on chain, no new TNZ tokens will be released after the limit is reached. The supply amount is still being worked on and the tokenomics surrounding it are still being developed. Our core focus taking TNZ on chain is to preserve the value and maintain the longevity of the token. We will be providing the community with further updates later this year on our progress with this process!
12: TOONZ TOWN EXPANSION
We’ve made it to the end of the roadmap, which is actually just the start of our TOONZ TOWN expansion! This expansion plays a huge part in our lore, our story and YOUR experience. TOONZ TOWN will support many different venues that you can explore and interact with! On February's TOON TALK we hinted at some concepts holders can expect to see such as, an arcade where holders can meet up play and challenge each other through various games, go to the theater and watch movies while chatting with other TOONZ. This is just the beginning, our main purpose for expanding TOONZ TOWN outside of just the LOFTZ is to provide a one stop location for all the TOONZ to come vibe & hangout! More updates regarding this expansion will be revealed closer to the year's end!

These PETS will be an extension to the ongoing LOFT experience by giving holders the ability to bring these PETS into their LOFTZ simply by holding an eligible detonated token in their wallet! We can’t wait to see all the new friends that you invite into your LOFTZ!
4: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY & NFT LA
WOW! ONE YEAR! Can you believe it? February 22nd 2023 will mark our ONE YEAR anniversary! While the team will be in PARIS at this time we have decided to move our CELEBRATION EVENT to align with the NFT L.A. event. Meshing the two together will provide our holders a chance to attend both and not have to make multiple travel plans. Our team is already scouting locations and will update the community with further information as soon as it's available! We take this time to look back at our last year and it's truly a surreal feeling, from the spaces, the IRL meetups or the conversations had within discord, the TOONZ give off a strong family vibe and we can not wait to celebrate with everyone!
5: LOFTZ ON CHAIN
We’re thrilled to announce that LOFTZ will be moving to an on-chain experience! The imagery of the KEYS on the roadmap correlates to allowing our Robot and PAWS (1:1) owners first access to redeem a FREE exclusive LOFT designed for these TOONZ! Once these LOFTZ are redeemed they will be on-chain and support the ability to be bought or sold on marketplaces like Open Sea. Later this year, with Phase III of the marketplace, this experience will expand to ALL holders! New LOFT designs will be created, some much more exclusive than others, and will ONLY be redeemable with TNZ tokens!
6: TOP SECRET
SHHHH! Unfortunately this is the ONLY item on the entire roadmap we can not thoroughly discuss, as it is extremely dependent on our partner and how they choose to deploy what they are working on and how we fit in! What we can say is, IT’S HUGE, it will truly impact Web3 on a global scale. Our team is extremely excited to be a part of this journey with our partner. We will definitely share more information once we are allowed to do so!
7: THE CLOSET
While we have kept this concept and its details close to our chest, The Closet will be revealed in its entirety at NFT Paris! A large reason we are heading to Paris is to speak about this product specifically; how we’re approaching a new concept yet to be done in the space, how it will allow TOONZ holders to express their personality and bring them closer to their TOONZ! We truly believe The Closet will act as a bridge between Web2 and Web3, bringing more value to all members of our community!
8: ROBOT UPGRADE
UPGRADE ENGAGED! Upon speaking with members of the community a strong sentiment from our Robot holders was that the Detonated collection did not do enough justice when it came to the artwork of the Robots. We’ve heard the feedback and want to make this right, we will be re-visiting the artwork for both the Detonated/Mutated Robot! We hope to provide a more detailed piece of art that our Robot holders are proud to showcase! Be on the lookout for a ROBO PET coming with this upgrade. While upgrading the Robot artwork is our main priority in this stage we also will be taking the time to revamp the Detonated collection in its entirety, clean some things up and really push the artwork and collection to another level!

As we welcome a new year of adventures we also want to welcome some new team members! We have brought TWO new artists/animators onto the team, first is RISA a very talented illustrator that will assist with concept and story art development. Secondly, we are excited to welcome Dani K. Angry, a talented designer and animator! Dani will work as an artist and lead animator on the team! Welcome to the team guys!Now, for OUR 2023 ROADMAP! We released our roadmap visual prior to our monthly TOON TALK and the theories started pouring in! The roadmap featured twelve different items representing our plans for the year! Let's break those down below!
1: THE MARKETPLACE
We are inching closer to the finalization of the marketplace, TOONZ we advise getting those TNZ ready! The marketplace consists of THREE phased rollouts, each phase bringing more life and an enjoyable experience to our holders. Let's take a look at what each phase will bring:PHASE I — This phase will feature the ability to redeem your TNZ tokens for many digital assets within our ecosystem and IRL items. Various purchasing methods will be implemented to support a fair system for our holders; there will be quantity based items & raffle ticket systems. These systems will be implemented so all holders have an equal playing field and a fair chance at redeeming these items. SO, what might you find in the marketplace at this time? We will be featuring all of our ecosystem tokens (OG, Detonated, Dynamite), Ledgers, GMGN Branded items, TOONZ merch coupon codes, flight credits and much more. It is very important to highlight that all of these redeemables will only be purchasable with TNZ tokens. Lastly, we are extremely excited to introduce TOONZ OS! TOONZ OS is a new experience our holders will have within their LOFT, acting as the central hub for the TOONZ! This new experience brings us another step closer to making our holders feel as though they are able to live the life of their TOONZ! PHASE II- This phase will be heavily focused on digital collectibles and expanding the TOONZ ecosystem. During this phase holders will have the ability to begin personalizing their characters, and how they roam around TOONZ TOWN. Additionally, all Minter Rewards Card holders will now receive a discount on select claims in our marketplace.PHASE III— Is the final phase of our Marketplace for 2023, and with it comes a further enhancement for personalization of your TOONZ TOWN experience. At this stage you can expect a more customizable experience within your LOFTZ, which will allow you to pick and choose different decorative collectibles. These LOFTZ items will only be claimable with TNZ Tokens, and once claimed be a part of a new Open Sea collection. Holders will now have the ability to buy, sell, and trade their decorative collectibles. Our goal for the LOFTZ experience is to have a mix of team created assets, as well as branded collectibles that derive from Web2 partnerships with relevant brands. All items in our Marketplace will be claimable to Degen Toonz Holders with TNZ Tokens, which are earned simply by having a delisted TOON in your wallet. So simple a bear can do it.

Yesterday we shared the roadmap and I’m beyond excited to have an in-depth conversation with you all on our Twitter spaces Feb 7th. A lot of amazing things coming this year that are on and off the roadmap which has me extremely excited.
The excitement can only go so far though. Our community is driven by each and everyone of us. The way some of our own are treating each other is a massive let down to this community who pours their non stop time and energy to bring in the most valuable information, great vibes, and overall sense of family. This discord used to be nothing but a good time. Now it’s rarely utilized for the platform that it is. The team and myself have been very lenient and understanding of all types of issues that have come up.
As of today I am firmly implementing our rules that have been in place for some time. The general chat is not for criticism, feedback or fud (constructive or not). There will be a ticket channel launched later today that will be strictly for feedback, comments, and concerns. Keep it out of general chat. Keep the room clean and fun like it should be. If your goal is to alienate or shit talk then this isn’t the discord for you. Our mod team will ban at their discretion and the executive team is in full support of any decision they make. If a permanent ban is made (After 2 warnings) then it will NOT be reversed.

As I mentioned last week on twitter, we have deployed an update to the LOFT system that now allows holders to transfer tokens between their secondary and primary wallets. This allows holders a convenient way to hold their TNZ tokens in one wallet for ease of use in our eco-system moving forward. TNZ tokens are the key to participating in our eco-system rollouts for this year and many to come.
Along with this update we also designed a wizard tool that makes linking your primary and secondary wallet an easier process. This tool is found in the settings menu when you go to connect additional wallets. Please note that in order to connect a secondary wallet to your LOFT, the wallet must contain a TOONZ eco-system token or the wallet will not connect.
If you face any errors or have trouble please don’t hesitate to reach out to a team member for guidance. As always thank you to the amazing TOONZ community for all the love and support. We’re just getting started and I’m extremely excited for what is to come this year!

As announced we have decided to scale back official TOONZ Talk to the first Tuesday or every month, this has provided an opportunity for other members on the team to host their own space/stage and we wanted to fill you a little further! Our Sunday Happy hour hosted by Kelly & Madelyn will be taking place twice a month, and occurring in a bi-weekly frequency. The new expansion we look forward to introducing will be featured in our discord! This stage will be named "TOONZ Townhall" and will be hosted by McShady. This stage will happen in a bi-weekly frequency and run the opposite weeks of the Happy Hour! We encourage all holders to join us and talk TOONZ! The TOTM submission process has been eliminated, and moving forward we will randomly generate a number between 1-8888!The OG TOONZ collection will be the only collection used for the ToTM selection!
Your Toon must be delisted and not transacted within the month that it was submitted for TOTM (This also includes listing it privately on our marketplace or trying to transact it on a private deal). If your Toon was selected as the winner but it was listed during that month, we will select a new winner. We will also be changing winnings to TOONZ Tokens on our rewards system. (We will update everyone with what that amount will be). You will still receive a minted copy of Rolling TOONZ Magazine!

I wanted to take this time to provide information and insight on some of the updates that have been implemented!
VULCAN VERIFICATION
Out with the old and in with the new. We have adapted to the Vulcan Verification system, during this switch over we were able to obtain more than %50 of user verification. Upon entering the discord if the roles you had are lost, please reverify under #-toon-verification . The verification process should now be effortless! If there are any difficulties experienced please reach out to myself or the on-duty MOD and we will trouble shoot immediately. We are also excited to introduce the following roles for our Robot, Gold & Paws owner!
CHANNEL CLEAN UP
The team did a major overhaul for all channels in the discord, the process started with eliminating channels that were not active. A big change holders will notice upon entering is the #-rules channel, the team has come up with a basic guideline on how to be a Friendly TOON and how the team views the structure for the discord; moving forward MODs will be implementing these rules to ensure the discord is a safe, relaxing place where our holders can reside and connect with one another. All holders are encouraged to accept the rules to be granted their "user" role!We have also made some changes to our Market Place channel. There will be two channels created, There will be one channel to show active listings across all marketplaces and another to show active sales across all marketplaces; we have created similar channels for our detonated collection as well! A major change that was implemented will see chatting in these channels eliminated. This was a deep conversation the team had and we believe it provides a major increase in security, we do not want to see any TOONZ stolen via OTC trades, and we encourage all purchases to be executed on a trusted market place.We are aiming to alleviate the active trading, shilling or spam. With the chatting disabled in the marketplace channel; the discord will be enforcing a zero tolerance policy for any kind of trade talk in ALL channels moving forward.Last we have added a role channel, #-degen-roles ! Please take time to review this channel as adding these roles will provide you with prompt updates for raiding, minor announcements & data analytics. For the corresponding information three roles exist Degen Raider, Degen Dispatch & Degen Anayltics. Here is a breakdown for the roles!Degen Raider - For the TOONZ that are active on twitter and love to get loud! This role will notify you when there is an on-going raidDegen Dispatch - For the TOONZ that want to stay in the loop! This role will notify you of minor announcements, or events that the MOD team has put together.Degen Analysis - For the TOONZ that love all the numbers and all the stats! This role will notify you when there is an update the MODs push out regarding analytics, focused on recent sales and overall volume.
Remember we share this discord with active holders but also new-comers and even future holders, the team asks we keep this discord a fun and loving space! We are all in this together and the TOONZ are something that brings us all together!
