Hello again, Gennish Friends. I am Prof. Itero and this is Brushstrokes Through Time: A Journey through the Frontier’s Art History.
Today I present to you yet another exquisite work of master Thobias the Duck. It is a depiction of a historical event from the Catopian Era, AKA the Age of the Cat Gods: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕬𝖗𝖗𝖎𝖛𝖆𝖑 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕴𝖒𝖒𝖎𝖌𝖗𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖘.
What a beautiful painting, filled with hope and the promise of a new life in a land devoid of prejudices. A place where everything was possible: here, The Frontier. Some of them were thrill-seekers, some were refugees, most were free thinkers and hard workers. Those were our ancestors and The Frontier accepted them all. But it was not an easy journey… And the only way in by land was through Alcyon’s Spine, a mountain range filled with raiders, pitfalls and perils.
But that’s what the Border Patrol was there for! Our valiant knights provided security and guidance to new arrivals with watch towers and fortifications built over all the Rib Peaks of Alcyon’s Spine.
Oh, to think of such times, when the Border Patrol’s sole purpose was to safeguard travelers! I can’t speak for the entire museum staff, but I pray that our wise Frontier President may soon reach an agreement with the LLN and end the DeadLock War. That our borders may once again open and that The Frontier will be reconnected to the rest of Iridia. I believe both sides would benefit immensely from that.
Come! The museum awaits. Bring your kids! Let future generations gaze upon this painting of hope and also dream of better, peaceful days for our future.

Update on Loremporium Minting Glitch to OpenSea
To those having difficulty seeing some of their Loremporium NFTs on OpenSea, we've found that the best way to fix the glitch is open a ticket with OpenSea. This glitch appears to happen if you have more than one of the same token (example- multiple 1 Year Anniversary posters).

Hello again, my Gennish friends, this is Professor Antonio Itero from the Gen City Museum. Today we’re debuting our first episode of Brushstrokes Through Time: A Journey through the Frontier’s Art History.
I’m proud to announce the third of five pieces we recently acquired from the works of cloudian master Thobias The Duck. This painting is also a representation of a scene from the Age of the Cat Gods, though it would hardly fall into the Holy Art category: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕮𝖆𝖙𝖑𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖊𝖚𝖒!
This giant arena was Catopia’s main attraction, a place where gladiators would battle each other or even fearsome monsters, like this one depicted in the painting. There are also two figures to the side watching over the scene from some sort of ceremonial box, probably depictions of the cat gods themselves. We can assume those would be Nergath, the FarSighted, and Sekhmiau, the Abyssinian.
In later days, during the decline of the Catopian Era, the Catlesseum became also a place where captured praytoists met terrible ends by blade or claw, as a way of punishment for defying kittenism. It was a very gruesome and public example of the fate of those who went against the status quo. The inscription in front of the arena was famous: PRAY OR PREY. Though there is some debate about its meaning.
To the top of the image there’s also a RoosterGen figure, probably representing some sort of announcer of the games. Some people believe that it is in fact a depiction of one of the so-called New Gods that would come into power centuries later. Perhaps master Thobias put him there as an inside joke, since he was a BirdGen himself.
Though it was a real place, located in what is now Old Town, the Catlesseum does not exist anymore.
There are still some ruins there and also a series of deep underground galleries beneath it, where marks of giant claws can be found on the walls. This seems to indicate that there were in fact monsters in the arena and that part is not allegorical at all. What were those monsters? How did they came to be? What happened to them? That remains a mystery…
This thrilling masterpiece, a part of master Thobias “orange period”, is a must-see!

In a drastic move by the newly formed Genesis City Reserve, $LORE rates were slashed last month by a staggering 90%. The agency claims this was to curb rampant inflation, but word on the street is that villain calves have been affected by a calf milk shortage as a direct result of these heavy handed cuts.The agency has come out today to say that they will be increasing $LORE rates in the coming weeks along with subsidies for the basic necessities like "Quest Rerolls."The Heroes League (the largest proponent of the Genesis City Reserve) was unreachable for comment.
🎙️ Widespread riots and protests are still erupting in Genesis City, as popular discontent over the Heroes League reaches a boiling point. I will be interviewing pro and anti-League spokespeople so we can keep you informed about both parties' views and further developments.

🖼️ If you’ve missed the recent additions of the Holy Art Expo at our Museum, we’ve most recently were blessed (get it? get it??) with a unique piece that illustrates one of the most beautiful moments of the history of the Frontier. Our Professor will shed some light on this incredible painting:
Hello my Gennish friends. This is Prof. Antonio Itero again, from the GenCity Museum.Yet another masterpiece from Cloudian master Thobias The Duck has been acquired to our permanent Holy Art Exposition. This beautiful work of art is also a representation of a Kittenist religious cornerstone, and also a piece of our world history. The painting has been named after what it represents: The Litter That Brought Peace. Legends say, and most historians agree, that in the remote past, The Frontier was just like the rest of Iridia: a land inhabited by clans of different species of Gen that didn’t mingle between themselves. Mostly ApeGens, BullGens, MooseGens and the now extinct InsectGen species, though other species may have existed in even smaller tribes. At the time it was unknown that Gens of different species could produce offspring, mostly because of the difficult relationships between such tribes. The arrival of the CatGen changed everything, since their powers sparked the interest of hundreds of different types of Gens that began to coexist around the CatGen settlement that would later become the first capital of The Frontier: Catopia. This new integrated society led to a love affair between an ApeGen and a CowGen, which shocked their families when they gave birth to a mixed litter containing babies of both species. This is something extremely common in modern GenCity, my own brother is a FoxGen, but at the time it was considered a miracle that ended a long dispute between those tribes. The Cat Goddess represented in the picture, as if blessing this joyous moment, is the Cat Goddess of Love, Compassion and Charity: Katshee, in some texts referred to as Katye. Evidently this depiction is merely allegorical, since the Cat Gods are simply a metaphorical representation of CatGen society. There is no evidence to support that creatures as powerful as these could ever have existed in real life. This beautiful painting emanates a feeling of peace and calm that can only be experienced live. Come! Bring your kids! The Museum awaits. With so, so much being created about Genesis City and the Frontier, it was clear that we were outgrowing the #🧠｜lore-brainstorm channel. We're creating a few different channels with more specific purposes, including our first forum: #feedback-and-collabs! This is a place for you to get advice from your peers, or find your next partner in crime. Feel free to create threads there: it's an easy way to brainstorm and create with NFHers across timezones.

📺 Some villains, including the notoriously anti-League influencer Boyle, have managed to temporarily hack GNN’s show Alpha View. These attacks have been increasing as we get closer to the Parade but don’t worry! GC Police Department and Griff himself are looking into it alongside some of our best tech professionals.
And speaking of GCPD, they’ve arrested (again!) the villain known as Morally Wrong Jane, aka CinderHella, aka Beth Penalty, aka Gore Jess, aka Janna Cide, aka… well… you guys know who I’m talking about! She’s been seen fighting the vigilante Night Ape a while back, who allegedly helped the police with her first arrest, but managed to escape and continue harassing the residents of DeGen Alley. Until now!
💡 A couple of weeks back we asked if you knew the six known Great Ages in the World of Nefthar. It’s time to reveal the answer!
The Abandon: Before recorded history, something happened and the Gens came to be.
What was it, no one exactly knows…
The Age of the Cat Gods: The arrival of the Catgen in Iridia changed everything, forever. A new society was born in The Frontier. It is also known as The Age of Wonders and Alterphacts.
The Age of the New Gods: With the fall of Whallands, new gods came to be. And in their wake came centuries of war… This is also known as the Age of Calamities.
The Cloud Ages: As the last gods destroyed each other, Genkind payed the price. Dark clouds covered the skies of The Frontier: feudalism and obscurantism became te new law. These are also known as the Dark Ages.
Old Genesis City: As the clouds open, science takes the place of superstition. An industrial revolution begins and Genesis City is founded as a new beam of hope and progress for Genkind.
Modern Gen City: The Rift between East and West Gangs is finally over thanks to Kato and the League of Heroes. A new era of peace begins, but how long will it last?

Number 2 The species and the alpha
It is now a known fact that the first species manifest alpha in a specific way. For example, bulls would develop alpha more related to strength, apes would develop alpha related to speed and agility, and so on. But crossbreeding over time created different alpha manifestations in Gens. So if you are an ape, and your parents are apes but you are super strong, maybe there are some bulls in your family tree. One last thing is that cats have the best organisms to conduct alpha. However, scientists still don’t know the reason why.
Number 1 The Danger of alpha
Nowadays a sad fact is happening in Gen City. There is on the streets a product called Synth, a substance that reacts with the alpha in your body and imitates the effects of the alpha sharing, increasing your level for some hours. But like any drug, comes with a cost. Over time, you cannot hold even your own natural alpha, and you will need more and more Synth to feel any kind of energy. It causes the organism to get older quicker than normal and the alpha to vanish from your body in some cases, and in others, even death.

@everyone Hello! Guess what gaming raccoon got permission to use the big boy channel today. While we don't drop every new season into the #🚨｜major-announcements , this one seemed special. From the technical side, this is our largest release since the original deployment of IQ…which just so happens to have been a year ago next week!

Now! On to what's changed:
Season Long Staking - Allow users to enter all of their characters into a season-long quest (non-revocable). All characters on this quest will earn the equivalent of training EXP on a daily basis.
Quest Rerolling - Allow players to spend $LORE to replace a Quest from the Home screen.
Login System Rework - Reduce the required frequency of using a wallet to log in to the game. No longer need to relogin with every refresh.
Quest Chance Fix - The frontend no longer lies about the odds of completing quests. While the frontend was usually close, it was sometimes off by a few percent. Shared data file between front and backend unifies them.
“Best Match” Sort - On the character select modal, change the “Faction” sort button to a “Best Match” sort button which orders your characters by highest trait match bonus.
Tiered $LORE Output - To prevent oversaturation of the $LORE economy, tier the season’s output based on the number of users who participated. Reaches old max at 1000 players.
Dynamic welcome messages, version info, season number, etc.
EXP values needed to level increased to match the increased speed from higher bonuses values and quest exp modifiers.
Semi-Batched Character Loading - Better support large wallets by loading characters in batches instead of high-volume concurrent requests.
A full CI/CD for front and backend. Previously only existed for backend because of an incompatibility between, Unity, Linux, and WebGL builds. This will allow for quicker and cleaner updates to the frontend.
A lot of refactoring on the frontend.

🖼️ As an art enthusiast, I’m personally very excited to say that the painting Visions of Edgen has arrived at our beloved Museum! I bring to you our resident Professor to talk a little about this fascinating piece:
Hello my gennish friends. I'm Professor Antonio Itero from the GenCity Museum, and I'm very honored to announce a new painting that has just been acquired to our permanent Holy Art Exposition. This beautiful piece is called Visions of Edgen. It is supposedly a recreation by Cloudian master painter Thobias the Duck. Most historians believe that Master Thobias attempted to recreate a much older work of art, dating from thousands of years ago, in the almost legendary Age of the Cat Gods. The original was theoretically painted by a Kittenist as a gift to one of the fabled Cat Gods themselves. Sadly it was destroyed in the Overturn Fires, over ten years ago. The image is a representation of the mythological heaven of Kittenism. It is speculated that the original painting had scriptures in the dead language of Insecrtil around its edges, explaining the symbology of the cat-shaped mountain, the religious figures at the center and the strange, almost lysergic Catgen in the foreground. The so-called "satellite scientists" from NebulaCorp. claim their space-images suggest Edgen wasn't an allegorical heaven, but an actual archipelago on the other side of the planet. They even go as far as suggesting that the Cat Gods were real beings, instead of mythological figures. But any real historian will tell you that such a long sea voyage at that time was completely impossible.Please, come admire this exquisite work of art, notable for its unusual palate and ethereal feel. Come! Bring your kids! The Museum awaits!And you may even take some official replicas of this artwork home to hang in your living room.
