That is a very interesting one, as it is the first time a team outside of our ecosystem wants to come in and use our token for various utilities within their apps. We talk a lot about utility, well the purpose of a DAO and decentralizaton is to have external teams and people come in and add value to our network without it necessarily coming from the core team.

First Town Hall for our Faces of Web3 holders, excited to show you all how we do things at Rug Radio and the importance of our Town Halls, that we have been hosting regularly since launch.
Tomorrow is a big one. Six months ago, we presented a Long Range Plan where the community was required to vote for a $1M USD spend. The six months have come to an end, and just like we did 3 months ago, we will be presenting you where the money has gone and what we have accomplished over the last 3 months, thus closing the previous LRP.
So, now what? Well, that is why tomorrow is so important. Now, we show you the next 6 months of Rug Radio and the RugDAO, follow by another proposal. If you need to swap $RUG to $RDAO to vote in the up and coming proposal, I would get started.

@everyone - GM! Following OpenSea's announcement in response to Blur last Friday, we instructed SyndicateDAO (our dev team) to remove all blocks, as it made no sense anymore.
The "permissioned" collection made it so we could not get any Blur bids whatsoever, explaining some love volumes going into the Faces of Web3 collection.
That is now removed, and people can now place bids on Blur and trade there. Enjoy!

@everyone - The mint is sold out and after seeing a lot of the messages in the general chat, we went on Discord Stages to explain exactly what happened. We are going on Twitter Spaces at 8PM ET (in 20 minutes) to go over what happened again so that we can have a recording of it, and will also be posting the post-mortem to our official Mirror account as well as all our socials.
Up to today, the mint was seamless, and a massive success. Sadly, we encountered technical difficulties today and we take full accountability for them, as well as empathize for the incredible people who wanted to truly join our community.

GOOD NEWS! The mint was not over allocated. Yes, there was way more participants than spots left, but we managed to pick 5335 winners with Premint directly!
That means that if you got an email saying you won, you will have 24 hours from my next announcement to mint your Cory Van Lew x Rug Radio PFP for 0.069 ETH!
HOWEVER - if you got waitlisted, you may as try to mint too. Why? Because Premint removed 500 wallets from the 5335 winners that were bots, etc., so we randomly picked 500 out of the waitlisted people and added them in there.
Anything left over will probably go into Wave 3 Public Mint, but we will focus on that later, depending on how many are left, if any.

@everyone - We extended the allow listing process by 5 hours, to 7 AM ET, due to some bugs that came from Twitter today… just our luck!
I don't think this affects the mint open time for Wave 2 that we had set to 10:30 AM ET. If it does, I will make sure to let you all know on here, and on Twitter.
As I have mentioned in my pinned tweet's thread (https://twitter.com/farokh/status/1623400170997051392) and in this thread pointing to the 75+ communities we allowlisted (https://twitter.com/farokh/status/1623432294231859203), there are more premint spots allocated than NFTs left to mint (5335 total), so it will be on first come/first serve basis.
The cost to mint is 0.069 ETH, and we will communicate the final links to mint as usual through the regular channels. I will most probably be announcing on the GM Web3 show tomorrow morning if you want to be extra safe, and make sure we post it all and upload it to our website at the same time.
Please be very careful in the meantime, there are fake Twitter accounts and fake airdrops being sent to people. Remember that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

The official announcement regarding Wave 2 of the Cory Van Lew x Rug Radio mint is LIVE.
Once the mint ends at 4PM ET, the Rug Radio team will be minting 1000 PFPs to the Rug Radio wallet like we did for Membership Passes and Genesis NFTs. Out of those 1000, we have to airdrop a few to Cory 1 of 1 holders that had issues as well as a few creators who could not mint (total is less than 30 total NFTs I believe). Just like the Membership Passes and Genesis NFTs that we own, the PFPs can be used for marketing purposes but also in our Prop House to reward you all for helping build the RugDAO, and more!
