Dev Blog Update

There will be no dev blog this time, but here is a mini-update.

This last month the team was very busy and the team was hyper-focused on the Digital Artifacts 7+ day sprint. The ordinal drop and ARG experience was a great surprise for our holders and wider industry, and aided in expanding our IP further through storytelling...which may or may not also tie into Pixlverse at some point. While this month has been slower, our development team has been focused on getting the playable alpha build ready. We've added in some more moves that are a little more chaotic which would not have made it into the previous initial build. The dev team has also been focusing on fixing some issues with the state machine and UI. 

With that being said, we do know that dev blogs are an excitement for many that are patiently waiting to get their hands on the game, so here are two sneak peeks of pre and post-battle screens. One in mobile format

We do hope everyone enjoyed the events we ran so far - the final quests will still be ongoing so there will still be chances to obtain some ordinals. We have some ordinals in reserve that didn't end up getting used, so we'll also be giving out some honourary ordinals to those of you that didn't win but we saw putting extreme amounts of effort throughout the contest.

Small update

Going to the gym in a few but when I'm back, we will lock in a time to get things started.

Important note:
In order to bypass the issue, we had to work with another team to get API access back.
This means on the site when you authenticate your Twitter it will say Vortex Client wants to authenticate you.
Don't worry, this is us - the permissions will only be to view your tweets.

It's a small change but thought I'd mention it in case anybody gets spooked.

We've found an alternate solution to our Twitter API issue.

Everything has been tested in production now also to ensure there are no issues. 
There were none and our tests have passed so we should be good here.

I would lock in a time, but most of our developers are EU based and just passed out.

So we're going to have to wait till the morning when everyone is awake and then I will lock in an official time.
Afternoon EST seems like the most appropriate time range for everyone (Provisional: 1-5PM EST for those of you that really want me to give a time)

Overall this was unexpected, but also happens when you're dealing with esoteric technology that was invented a few weeks ago...and dealing with the Twitter APIs after Musk has taken over and axed 80% of the workforce while also making massive changes to said API
